Launch of the Open Simulation Platform (OSP) Initiative

Seminar Simulations are currently widely used in all stages of a vessel’s life cycle. However, the potential of simulations is still not fully utilized as the initial cost of establishing simulation models is considerable, and re-use of models is limited. Four leading maritime players aim to change that. The goal is to establish a standard for models and simulations in the maritime industry, enabling both re-use of models and collaborative system simulations to solve challenges within design, building and operation of today’s and tomorrow’s ships.

DNV GL, Rolls Royce Marine, SINTEF Ocean and NTNU hereby invite you to a mini-seminar to be held at Norsk Maritimt Kompetansesenter (NMK), Møretanken in Ålesund on March 20th. 11.30-16.00
