Cultural Intelligence as a Competitive Edge
Konferanse
The business landscape is changing. Global power shifts, volatile market conditions, geopolitical uncertainty are just a few of the challenges facing us today. Attracting and retaining top talent has never been more crucial to navigate this landscape.

Leveraging cultural intelligence and diversity management for attracting and retaining global top talent
We invite you to join a fascinating workshop that addresses Norwegian business culture, and whether it succeeds in attracting and retaining the minds of tomorrow. NTNU, the Clusters and MARKOM has teamed up with Seema to build necessary diversity competency and capacity to support the maritime sector in developing future-ready organizations for global top talent. We are excited that academia, the industry, and practitioners join forces to support in driving innovation and growth, focusing on the human element. Seema is a consultancy company that specializes in leadership- and organizational development using cutting-edge analytical tools.
We often carry an image of being and inclusive and open country. And consequently, an inclusive and open workplace. But is that really the case? And what may be the consequences for attracting and retaining global top talent, innovation, and competitiveness? The workshop aims to give us food for thought using reliable insights, concrete examples and conclusions backed by research to discuss whether the maritime industry has a future-ready culture where talents can thrive to bring bottom-line results.
The seminar is funded by “MARKOM” which is a national program to drive development of relevant knowledge for the maritime sector through educational institutions.
