Full-day seminar: Methanol as an energy carrier
Seminar
The maritime sector faces a comprehensive transition towards more environmentally friendly and emission-free technologies. Methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen appear as promising alternatives, but questions regarding maturity, cost, and availability remain unresolved. To shed light on these issues, we hereby invite you, together with Glocal Green, to a full-day seminar on methanol on Thursday, May 23rd.

Welcome to a full-day seminar on methanol, Thursday, May 23rd!
This event aims to increase understanding of methanol, its availability, infrastructure, and the current maturity of the technology. Technology development is fast-paced, and the seminar will, therefore, build upon previous seminars on the same topic, considering new developments since it was last on the agenda.
Throughout the day, we will delve into the methanol value chain, from production to on-board use. We will address key topics such as technology, infrastructure, regulatory framework, and financing, and all stakeholders from across the value chain are welcome to sign up.
The seminar is scheduled from 09:30 to 15:30 and will be held at NMK in Ålesund.
Secure your spot by signing up via the form below.
