Funded through EEA Grants, the project is a collaboration between GCE Blue Maritime, CTT, and the University of Zagreb.

The MARIGOLD project aims to strengthen international collaboration by piloting a model for connecting relevant expertise from Croatia with the Norwegian maritime industry. One key goal is to develop an internship program between Croatian and Norwegian companies, which could later be expanded to include other countries.

We had the pleasure of organizing and facilitating a comprehensive program of meetings and site visits for twelve bachelor’s and master’s students specializing in automation and naval architecture, accompanied by four professors from Zagreb Technical University. Their program included industry leaders such as Ulstein Group, Kongsberg Maritime, ABB, Vard Design, NTNU, Inmarsat, OSC, and ÅKP.

A highlight of the week was a workshop where Croatian professionals working in Norway shared their experiences, offering valuable insights into career opportunities and life in Norway.
