Navalia 2024

Expo Navalia 2024 is a bi-annual global event, where key players from shipbuilding, ancillary industries, offshore, associations, public institutions, maritime services, port authorities, engineering services, ship-owners, and financial services meet.

Together with the Norwegian Embassy in Madrid, Innovation Norway is organising an exciting market visit programme to explore the Spanish maritime sector alongside Navalia 2024, the international shipbuilding exhibition. It’s an ideal opportunity for Norway’s green maritime businesses to gain access to Spain’s export market, whether looking to explore new business opportunities, identify clients and partners to work with or expand existing operations.

Spain’s maritime heartland

Navalia 2024 is a bi-annual global event, where key players from shipbuilding, ancillary industries, offshore, associations, public institutions, maritime services, port authorities, engineering services, ship-owners, and financial services meet.

The maritime market visit programme includes admission and accreditation to Navalia 2024, plus a welcome dinner, a networking reception between Norwegian and Spanish counterparts in the maritime value chain, a seminar, and the market visit itself.

Navalia takes places in Vigo, the capital of Spain’s shipbuilding sector. The region is home to 18 large capacity private shipyards and one public shipyard. The market visit is a group activity that will be tailormade as far as possible to the participating companies’ interests including site visits to shipyards, ports and maritime associations. Innovation Norway will help to match participants with local counterparts and facilitate meetings over these two days.

Participation fee

EUR 400,- excl. VAT per person.

The fee includes the following:

• Welcome dinner
• Networking reception with Spanish counterparts in maritime value chain
• Seminar
• A market visit programme that includes site visits to shipyards, ports and maritime associations, tailored as far as possible to the participants’ interests
• Entrance ticket and accreditation to the Navalia Trade Fair is included.

All participants are responsible for their own travel-related reservations and fees such as hotel and flights.

Navalia has a list of agreements with hotels in Vigo than can be booked through their official travel agency.
